Problem
Indexing loyalty program data across 400+ airlines and rewards programs across 65+ countries means dealing with wildly inconsistent formats and frequent changes. Users expect instant comparisons and valuations, so the system needs to be fast.
Solution
We designed and built the backend that powers Pointineer's core product: a system that ingests and normalises data from 400+ loyalty programs into a single unified model, then serves it reliably and fast at scale. The architecture is built to handle high read traffic without degrading, and to grow as Pointineer adds more programs and users.
