Built and operated the full technology stack behind CraftiGames, a large-scale Minecraft network serving 50,000+ daily active players and 500,000+ monthly active users, including game servers, internal tooling, AI agents, and workflow automation, continuously for over 10 years.
Running a gaming network with hundreds of thousands of players means dealing with sudden traffic spikes, keeping everything online during updates, and making sure players across different servers stay in sync. On top of that, doing all of this with a small team means you need smart tooling and automation to keep up.
We built a system of separate services on Kubernetes, each handling a specific job: matchmaking, player data, game state, and real-time communication. Beyond the core platform, we built internal tools, admin panels, and AI agents that handle content moderation, player support, and day-to-day operations. This gives a team of 5+ the ability to run a platform serving half a million monthly users. The whole system supports updates with zero downtime and has been running continuously for over a decade.
“We went from firefighting every day to running a platform that basically manages itself. The AI agents handle what used to take half our team's time.”
